So, I tried to wake up at 6:00 to study more today. ha. So I woke up at 6:30, ate breakfast with H in a sleepy haze, and as soon as he left for work I went right back to sleep. But, silly me, set the alarm for 25 minutes later and ended up laying in bed feeling like death until 9:30, but awakened every 7 minutes by my alarm. Really, it is kind of ridiculous to snooze for two hours because you aren’t actually resting but you aren’t getting anything done either! Oh man.
So I woke up, and I was hungry, but since I’d already had breakfast I had a hotdog, with bun, and 1/4 cup potato salad from the freaking awesome feast I made H for the Fourth. At 10 in the morning (I at least showered and dressed first.). And now it is 1:30 and I am hungry again. Like, starving. What am I going to eat? Am I going to have to have first lunch/second lunch today? And what is a good second lunch when first lunch was so delicious and unhealthy? Hopefully not a salad because I HATE SALADs today. Not every day, but definitely today.
I would eat the delish roasted vegetable quinoa salad for a 1:30 p.m. snack and then my traditional healthy choice + 100 calorie snack packs to get me through my class tonight, but there is a huge problem: the microwaves at Catholic University Law School are all broken. Isn’t that so sad and pitiful? I think it is. But they are broken. [Actually, they are not broken, but the power outlets shorted out at 7:15 p.m., to be technically accurate. I know that all four of my readers are very concerned about how the microwaves stopped working…]
So maybe curly fries for dinner? :) They are delicious but the last time I ate in Catholic’s cafeteria I was sick all that night. Maybe it’s time for a second try to see if it was a coincidence? I mean, their fries are curly.
