Last weekend, as I mentioned, we went camping in Boonsboro, MD. We had the greatest time and the weather was perfect! (Particularly when compared to our Arctic experience last Spring.)

Our friends W and S went with us and brought their giant adorable puppy! We hiked the AT (that’s Appalachian Trail for you regular people who, like me, were not aware that nickname existed or, frankly, that it was necessary). We built a campfire and charred some hotdogs and made s’mores — and s’moreos — and drank hot chocolate and all around had a great time.

I’m posting this from my iPhone and don’t have the capacity to embed photos, so I’ll just post a few snapshots below for you. It is not often that I miss my blackberry, but this is one of those times.
